30 years of ANU Engineering
Join us to celebrate 30 years of engineering at ANU, as we look back at the past and to our future.
Looking back and looking forward
2020 marks 30 years of engineering at The Australian National University (ANU). Join us for a virtual celebration as we look at the past 30 years and look to our future.
In 1990, the first engineering undergraduate program was launched at the ANU. This new program was unique in Australia in its broad interdisciplinary approach known as ‘Systems Engineering’. What started off with an initial graduating class of 21 has now grown to 200 graduates a year, with our alumni working in the breadth of engineering fields all over the world.
Today, in keeping with the innovative approach in which we started, we continue to shape the discipline of engineering for the 21st century and beyond.
We're planning webinar events and activities, plus showcasing ways you can get involved and share your stories. Keep an eye on this page and our social media for updates.
