Assignment 1 - Paper presentation - 20%

Assignment 2 - Paper reviews - 15%

Assignment 3 - Evaluation - 15%

Students have to evaluate presentations and discussions by other students over 10 weeks and answer quizzes. One evaluation per week.

Assignment 4 - Team project - 50%

Your assignment submission will be run through plagiarism-detection software, so if you use any code from somewhere else make sure you reference it in your assignment (see academic integrity).

Assignments Due Dates:#

Project assignments are due by 6pm the day before your tutorial and need to be submitted by the person presenting it.

• They must be presented during the tutorial by different team members
• As part of the submission, we ask you about the contributions of each team member to that assignment. It is not necessary for everyone team member to contribute to every assignment. Every team member needs to substantially contribute to at least one evaluation. Every team member needs to contribute substantially to assignments 5 and 7. Otherwise marks are deducted.

Presentation assignments:#

• Slides need to be submitted by 6pm the day before the lecture
• Presentation needs to be at the allocated time slot
• Other components need to be submitted by 6pm on the day of the lecture.
