This page details how to stop the keyring dialog boxes as shown in the screenshot below from continuously popping up when using the lab machines.
Please note this will occur whenever a user has changed their password with ANU.
To Fix the issue you use the Password and Keys application using the application menu from terminal its called seahorse.
If you know your previous password and want to keep any stored passphrases from your keyring:
- Right Click on the Login Section under Passwords and choose Change Password
- The first password you need to enter is your old original password.
- Then enter your new password twice this will then automatically unlock your keyring when you log in and the dialog should no longer appear.
If that doesn’t work or you don’t know your password choose Delete. This will regenerate a new keychain for you when you next login.
