Hi everyone! I’m Matthew (Matt), I’m a third-year computer science student. I took this course last year and enjoyed learning about the ins and outs of software development. Alexei has been teaching in the School of Computing for many (-many) years, both as a lecturer and as a tutor. Among of the courses he lectured in was the predecessor to COMP2120, but that was long time ago. He has a PhD in Physics (also from ANU), and his priority interests in computing lie in scientific software. He values fundamental principles and practices, and tries to find them in all fashionable trends which guide the industry today.
