I believe engineers are integral to creating inclusive, sustainable and prosperous societies. I'm interested in how we create socio-technically capable engineers of the future to tackle emerging wicked problems and improve the lives of others. My research aims to understand the role of humility in how engineers build and maintain professional relationships, and in turn, the impact on outcomes for all involved in projects. Through my work, we hope to help professional engineers be life-long, self-aware learners, who successfully collaborate with all they interact with. Aside from my research, I am personally interested in how we can increase diversity and inclusion in engineering, Humanitarian Engineering and the application of improvisation to foster skills in STEM professionals.
