Biography

I research in the areas of semantic web and machine learning with a focus on Knowledge Graph Engineering. I received B.Sc. degree in Software Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology, M.Sc. degree in Artificial Intelligence Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, and the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from The Griffith University, Queensland, Australia, in 2019. During my Ph.D., I have been working with Dr. Kewen Wang and Dr. Zhe Wang.

During my Bachelor and Master studies, my research area was focused on Knowledge Representation, AI planning, and Machine Learning. For the Ph.D., I extended my research to Rule Learning from Knowledge Graphs and my current research at ANU as a Postdoc., fits in the area of Knowledge Graph Engineering, AI-based Document Managing and Relational Learning. These fields have attracted much attention in the past few years due to the recent advancement in information extraction and vast data repositories construction in the Knowledge Graph format, such as Freebase and YAGO.

Over the last few years, I served the community as a peer reviewer for IJCAI, ECAI, CIKM, WWW, ESWC, and Australian AI.
