Abstract: Restoring degraded underwater images is a challenging ill-posed problem. Captured underwater images are generally degraded by scattering and absorption. The aim of the system is to enhance visibility and rectify the colour deviation (i.e. images with natural colour correction and better visibility). Dataset: adapt and develop datasets (e.g. synthetic and real images).
