The ANU McCusker Institute is committed to developing community-minded leaders who make a positive social impact. Our mission is to inspire students and the broader ANU community to become active contributors to local, national, and global communities while raising awareness of pressing social issues. We aim to bridge the gap between academic research and real-world challenges by fostering transdisciplinary collaboration to prepare our students to tackle complex societal issues as engaged citizenship.

Project:

Design the systems that support the student journey for McCusker Institute.

- Looking at the way students onboard, navigate and use the software system that enables students to record their journey and figuring out the IT requirements for this. Understand the journey that students take, e.g. project approvals, collection of KNoTs.

Review of the ANU systems - efficiency, accessible, seamless.

Required/Preferred Technical Skills:

Python and Ruby knowledge and/or coding experience, Microsoft365 Suite, including Sharepoint.

Professional/Other Skills:

UX skills/experience, Human Centred Design, creativity, solutions-oriented.

Type of Internship:

In-person.

The internship will be unpaid.
