Hi everyone, I’m Pranav, your class representative for COMP2120/6120. I’m a Master of Computing student at ANU specialising in Human-Centred Creative Computing, with a background in computer and communications engineering and a few years of industry experience in web and app development. I also run Srizen, a small UX/UI-led studio, on the side. I was a class rep for two courses last semester and enjoyed it, so I’m glad to be doing it again. Hi everyone, I’m Qasim! I’m a Bachelor of Computing student at ANU, and I’m mainly interested in cybersecurity and software engineering. Outside of studying, I’ve been involved with ANU and UniLodge in roles such as UniLodge Sports Rep and the futsal club committee. I’m usually at the lectures, so feel free to come up and say hello or have a chat whenever you see me. Welcome to COMP2120 Software Engineering! I’m Herman (Zhiheng) Tang. I hold a Master of Computing from ANU and a Bachelor of Engineering from Hong Kong PolyU. I have two years of industry experience, including one year at CSIRO working on robotics research, and previous roles as a software engineer at HKU and HKUST. Hi everyone, I’m Huy. I’m a Software Engineer and Team Lead at CSIRO, where I work on building software systems and leading engineering teams. I’ve spent well over a decade building software across a range of technologies, and one thing I’ve learned is that software engineering never stands still. The next decade will likely look very different from the last, with AI transforming how we design, build, and maintain software. It’ll be exciting to explore these changes together while also strengthening the timeless engineering principles behind great software. Hello everyone. My name is Ahmed Aldysty. I am a researcher in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, and I recently completed my PhD in cybersecurity at UNSW Canberra. I have experience in both academia and industry. I worked as a full-time assistant lecturer for six years. I also worked part-time as a software engineer, developing web and mobile applications. Hello everyone, I’m Yuvraj! Welcome to COMP2120 Software Engineering. I’m a final-year Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) student in Software Engineering here at ANU, graduating in 2027. Outside of coursework I’m the President of Google Developer Group ANU, where I lead teams building and shipping real projects, and I work on the Data and Performance team at ANU Formula Sport.
