Hi folks! I’m the course convenor for EXTN1019A/B in 2024-2025 which means that I’m responsible for organising the teaching team and making sure that you have the resources you need to learn and succeed in this course. I work with Matthew to make sure that your Creative Computing experience is the best that it can be!
Meanwhile, I teach and research in creative computing and human-computer interaction at ANU. This year I am teaching Sound and Music Computing and Human-Computer Interaction which are part of our Bachelor and Master of Computing study programs at the ANU.
In research, I run a group called the Sound, Music, and Creative Computing lab at ANU where I supervise PhD researchers who are making new discoveries in creative computing, performing/exhibiting/writing about them, and travelling around the world to tell people about it!
I’m also a musician and creative coder and you might see me performing new music with AI-enhanced musical instrument around Canberra’s experimental music scene.
You may not see me in classes much, but I’m on MS Team and work in the Hanna Neumann building. I’m happy to help with questions about further studies at ANU if you have them!
