The incidence of diabetes continues to increase and is forecast to continue to do so. Providing early detection of pre-diabetes and to then support through guidelines is important. As we move towards addressing privacy and introducing precision health the challenge is to support individuals collecting and maintaining data privately while allowing analyses and models to support and advise the patient on their specific circumstances. This project will extend an existing private data oriented app for health data (developed in flutter/dart utilising SOLID PODs) to collect diabetes related data, and then experiment with opportunities for analysing the data privately at an aggregate level.

This project has a focus on artefact development using Flutter and Dart with project management through Kanban and githb. It also combines research on how to aggregate data privately for analysis in the context of data science. It is suitable as a 12 unit individual student project in COMP8755.
