Week 5 Test#

The week 5 test is held in an invigilated computer lab, with no internet access. It will consist of a number of programming problems of varying scope and difficulty, as well as course content questions (usually in a multiple-choice format). The test covers all material taught in the first three (3) weeks of the course.
It is redeemable in the final exam, meaning that 10% of your course grade are determined by your marks on the week 5 test or your marks on the final exam, whichever are higher. This also means that if you miss the week 5 test, you can still get those marks later.
There is no possibility to defer or otherwise reschedule this test. If you are enroled in COMP1140 according to MyTimetable on Monday, 24 August 2026, 9am Canberra time, you have to attend the COMP1140 slot on 5pm that same day. Otherwise, you have to attend the COMP1110/6710 slot.
